I have been prescribed Restasis for Chronic dry eye syndrome related to Sjogren's Syndrome. It took a lot of time for my health fund (clalit) to approve the medication However, now I am reading about all sorts of worrying side effects such as extreme burning, sore throat, discharge, eye injury, etc., and am hesitant to take it. Also, I have one eye cauterized and one eye with a plug so I don't know whether it will be effective and worth the discomfort. Can you help advise me?
